Jessa grew up in Manhattan Kansas. Moved to Nashville and Los Angeles after college where she worked for large corporate companies. She moved back to Kansas in 2010 to raise her two children, Indie and Crew, in addition to having worked for large companies, she has also been an entrepreneur for the last 16 years and brings her combined experience to the executive director position.

Hi, I’m Tegan Kreider.  The Wamego Area Chamber of Commerce Event and Tourism Coordinator.  Our family moved to Wamego in January 2021 from Windsor, Colorado but my roots are from western Kansas. I was raised on a farm west of Scott City and attended Scott Community High School. I graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in social work and quickly became a probation officer for the State of Colorado. In addition to overseeing a caseload I also recruited, trained, and supervised students and professional volunteers that were seeking a path to becoming probation officers.  

 Our daughter was born in 2013 and in 2014 my husband and I made the decision for me to stay home with our daughter.  Our family grew in 2016 when our son was born.  My husband and I wanted to get back to small-town America and we landed in Wamego. Our family has fallen in love with everything our town has to offer. We have enjoyed shopping the local businesses, supporting the performing arts, cheering on our youth athletic teams, and partaking in the festivals and events within our community.  

Olivia is a recent K-State graduate in the Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology program. She's originally from Wichita, Kansas but calls Manhattan home. Supporting local businesses and making connections in the community has always been a passion of hers. When she's not at work, she's probably at home with her extra large orange cat, Nutmeg, or enjoying the outdoors.
