We are thrilled to share an encouraging update on our City Street Project! We're making incredible strides with Vine Street and are right on track to have it completed by May 2024. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, things are moving smoothly. Due to our excellent progress on Vine Street, we're prepared to kick off Chestnut earlier than expected! Originally slated for a January demo date, the contractor proposed beginning as soon as December 18th. However, in consideration of everyone's holiday plans, we've decided to push the start date for Chestnut to December 26th. We understand the importance of this festive season and want to ensure it remains undisturbed for everyone in our community. Hence, we've made this adjustment to begin Chestnut's work after the Christmas celebrations.
This shift in our schedule is incredibly promising for the overall timeline of the project. Initially projected to span 4 to 5 years, the pace at which things are progressing has us optimistic about potentially shortening this timeline significantly. Stay tuned for more details regarding Walnut and Spruce! We'll release further information next summer as we assess the impact of this winter on our timelines.
