Occupying a hill in a quiet corner of the community, the Wamego City Cemetery has paid tribute to former residents of our area almost since the founding of Wamego. The attractively landscaped 21-acre cemetery at Walnut and Eighth Street is one of the nicest in our region, especially when decked out for Memorial Day.
