<p>Paul Schliffke, Chief of Police, grew up in the Kansas City suburb of Prairie Village. He started his law enforcement career in 1980 as a dispatcher, and became a sworn officer is 1981. He has worked at the municipal, county, and state levels, and has spent the majority of his career in Pottawatomie County; serving 18 years with the sheriff’s office, and serving the City of Wamego since April 2013. Chief Schliffke is married and has three children.<br></p> Bio

<p>Stacie Eichem grew up in Wamego, graduating from Wamego High School.&nbsp; She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and her Master of Business Administration from Emporia State University.&nbsp; Her husband and her have raised three children in Wamego and now have a granddaughter.&nbsp;</p><p>She began working for the City of Wamego in 2010 as City Treasurer.&nbsp; After almost 10 years managing the city’s finances, she became Assistant City Manager in 2019, followed by Interim City Manager that same year.&nbsp; She started as City Manager on December 1, 2019.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>As part of her City Manager role, she also serves on boards and committees.&nbsp; She enjoys serving on the Wamego Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She serves on the Kansas Municipal Utilities Board of Directors, Kansas Municipal Insurance Trust Board of Directors, and the Kansas Municipal Energy Association Executive Committee and Board of Directors.</p><p><br></p> Bio
